I was looking at my My Best Buy account and realized that my banked rewards were converted back on March 1st. I believe this was tied to the Elite/Elite Plus status change. I think I had $155 in rewards banked that are now expired due to me not expecting these to be claimed and the email was eventually buried. I just wanted to see if these are gone for good or if theres any chance that these can be reversed, as this was not done by me personally. Thanks for looking into this and have a great day!

The day the certificates were issued does match-up with when our tier expiration process starts, and if you didn't requalify for Elite or Elite Plus status during the 2020 calendar year, then your tier status would've expired, which means you would no longer have the option to bank points. Any points you were banking would've been automatically converted into certificates down to the $5 level. It's the option to bank points that has me trying year after year to reach Elite status, but so far, I've been unsuccessful.
A certificate comprised of the points you're awarded will generally be valid for about 60 days unless noted otherwise, and the certificates in-question, if issued back in March, likely expired a couple months ago.
