Reward Certificate

Hello, I had received a $15 certificate that apparently already expired, I was planning to use it today as I was told that the 6th was the last day to use it by the clerk at my best buy store, but when I went online to use it, it told me that I had no certificates. Can anything be done about this? Or am I out the $15 certificate for listening to the associate instead of checking for myself?

Thank you for being a My Best Buy member! It's great to hear you received a $15 certificate from using your membership. I'm sure you were looking forward to redeeming it on this purchase, and were pretty taken aback when you found it expired, especially if you were aware that rewards expired, but were simply given an incorrect date. 

Generally speaking, certificates are valid for 60 days unless otherwise noted under our My Best Buy Terms. Often this comes into play for promotional certificates that are valid for around 30 days. When a certificate expires though, we are not usually able to reissue it. For more details, please feel welcome to check out the post below.
