Reward Certificate Expired

Hi BestBuy,

I went to use my $5 reward certificate and saw that it expired just day before yesterday, on October 14, 2021. I wanted to use it before it expired. But I missed it. Could you please help me?  Thanks

Once a cert is expired, they are unable to re-issue another one.

Thank you for stopping by our community forums again. As a My Best Buy member, I know it can be easy to lose track of which certificate was issued and when it will expire. I appreciate you writing to us and would be glad to give you some more information about how this process works.

 

As hockeycanuckjc mentioned, we are unable to reissue a certificate after it has expired. These will generally expire 60 days after being issued and will be notated if an earlier expiration date is used. You should receive an email when these certificates are issued, but I always recommend keeping an eye on your Spam, Junk and Promotion folders in the event this is filtered out of your inbox. You can also log into your My Best Buy account to review the expiration date for each certificate.

 

I'd like to take a closer look at your My Best Buy account to ensure that you are set up to receive emails when future certificates are issued. I'll need to gather a bit more information regarding your account and will be sending you a private message shortly.
