Returned item, lost promotional reward certificate

I returned a Fitbit in store today because I decided to get the Apple Watch 6. The customer service representative told me I would get all my money back in the way I paid for it ($110 on reward certificates and $27 on my credit card).

I only got back $60 on reward certificates because apparently the $50 one was a promotional certificate and now I can’t get it back according to the agent I chatted with in the Help Center.

Can you guys help me? I’ve been a loyal customer for years and would had hoped for someone to tell me I was going to lose it, because if that has been the case I would had exchanged the Fitbit for the Apple Watch.

Good afternoon, javierjmedrano,

Welcome to our community forums. I've worn a smart watch for the last few years and I know if I were in your shoes I would want to make sure one that did everything I needed. I appreciate you reaching out to us regarding your recent purchase experience.

As you mentioned, promotional certificates are only able to be used one time and will not be refunded in the event of a return. With that said, I would be glad to help explore what options may be available to help you moving forward.

I'll be sending you a private message shortly. You can check your inbox by clicking the orange envelope in the top right of your screen after logging into your forum account.
