Return Not Credited

I purchased an item using my rewards certificates and then Best Buy dropped the price 50%. I went into the store and asked them to price match it, but they told me that I would have to return the item and then rebuy it. They told me that they would reissue the rewards that I used to buy the item but that it might take a week. Anyway, it’s been several weeks and the certificates were never reissued. Is there anything I can do? If I don’t get the rewards back, then I basically spent $60 for a $20 game. Thanks.

Thank you for posting on our forum for support. I hate to hear you may not have been given clear information on how our process works for refunding certificates. For regular certificates, those should post back to your account within three days of your return.

 

On the other hand, bonus/promotional certificates are intended to be one-time use coupons, which it sounds like yours likely was. No points are awarded for these certificates, so when the points are credited for most certificates, there is nothing to be returned for promotional ones. For more details on this, you may wish to review the post below.
