I've had the same Best Buy account for well over a decade, and when I first opened it, my grandmother was on the account as well. I helped her shop for printers, laptops, and TVs and so we used the same rewards account.
She passed away 4 years ago and I am still receiving mail and email with her name on it, and when I'm shopping in a store and give my phone number I have to pick if it's me or her shopping. I've tried to have this changed so many times, but all they tell me is that I need to handle it with corporate. I have no idea where to go to do that!
If someone could point me in the direction I need to go to remove my grandmother from the account, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Good afternoon greycobalt,
It is always a good idea to make sure the information tied to your My Best Buy™ rewards account is up-to-date. I have moved a few times over the years and had my own rewards account updated each time. While you can update some of your information on BestBuy.com, those changes may not reflect in your rewards account. That is where we can help though.
There are a handful of scenarios where we can make changes to the name tied to a rewards account, such as a simple misspelling or legal name change. It would come down to whose name was provided when the rewards account in-question was first created. Please send me a private message with the below information, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I will take a closer look.
