Someone made a purchase on bestbuy.com and added one of my personal email addresses as the primary email address associated to the account. As such, I have the ability to log in, reset the password, etc. I reached out to this person (by finding his phone number on the account), and it seems like he was able to get his real email address added as a secondary address on the account - however, my personal email is still associated. I tried going through Account Settings > Account Security > Email Addresses > Change, but it doesn't give me an option to either delete my address from this account.
Can BestBuy support remove my personal email address from the login for this user's account?

Hello, mrkitty!
Thanks for reaching back out for support on our forum. It's always important to make sure your My Best Buy account is in order, and I can imagine your concern when noticing your email was tied to someone else's account.
Per our Privacy Policy, we are only able to discuss accounts with the person whose name is listed on the membership. That said, we will need the owner of the account in question to reach out to us to make any updates. I'd be happy to review your information in our system, though, and provide any additional insight into this that I can.
To start, please send me a private message including your full name, email, and phone number. You can find the blue option to message me to the right of my name below.
Regards,
