Refunded certificates, now can't issue them

Hello,

I recently had some certificates refunded to my account, but now I cannot seem to redeem my points; it tells me that it can't issue a certificate at this time. How can I go about redeeming my points for new certificates?

Welcome to our forums! I enjoy using my rewards points, so I can understand your concern.
I’ll be happy to take a closer look into this matter and offer any additional assistance I can, however, I’m hoping you can provide me with a few pieces of additional information before I’m able to do so.  If you could use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature to send me:

• Your first and last name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
 

This should be enough for me to begin my research, and hopefully get you the assistance you’re looking for.

As of now, I still cannot redeem my points. I have read previous posts of people having a similar thing happen, and on several occasions their rewards program was unfortunately locked, and it couldn't be reversed. I am terrified of this, since I have literally been a life-long Best Buy customer and have several hundreds of dollars worth of points.

UPDATE: in an effort to do my own due diligence, I am frequently checking my account, signing out and back in, and trying to redeem points. As of 7:00am CST, I am still unable to redeem points and my order continues to get rejected. I'm beginning to get a very sinking feeling after not being able to use my account for two days.

UPDATE: as of 10:00am CST, it seems I am able to place my order. It hasn't given me the cancelation text or email yet. I am still, however, unable to issue certificates. So, it seems one of my issues has resolved itself *crossing fingers*

UPDATE: as of 6:40pm CST, my online order is still valid, which is great! However, after a solid 48 hours since my points were refunded, I am still unable to redeem them for certificates in any denomination.

UPDATE: as of 6:10am CST, I am still unable to redeem my points for certificates. These points were fully refunded last Friday, August 5, 2022 and are not considered "pending" points. I am growing increasingly concerned that my 22,700+ points are "flagged" and will ultimately be forfeited, through no intentional or malicious fault of my own.
