Re: Reverse Rewards Certificates

I had the same problem. I bank my rewards but for some reason I was issued a $80 certificate I didn't request.

Also, I received an email from Best Buy that I had an item waiting in my cart that I did request. When I went to my account my cart was empty.

Changed my password immediately.

Re: Reverse Rewards Certificates

Just to clarify, the email indicated an item in my cart that I did NOT request.

Re: Reverse Rewards Certificates

I called the elite plus helpline this morning and got the 4000 points ($80) deposited back into my account.

Re: Reverse Rewards Certificates

Greetings, rjruby, and welcome back to the Best Buy forum,

I'm glad to hear the dedicated line was able to find a solution by restoring your points. Besides resetting your password, you may want to consider setting up your BestBuy.com account with our new 2-Step Verification.  It can help add an extra layer of protection to your account.  I've provided a link to an FAQ below that will walk you through how to set it up, and let us know if you have any other questions.
