Best Buy needs to change their policy for the Promotion Certifcates in case of returned defective product. I got the promotion since I puchased items on my Best Buy card to get the $30 certificate. I understand if I just use the "coupon" and return a perfectly good product. In my case, the TV became defective within the 12 months warranty. Instead of exchanging the TV (no longer available) they just returned my money without the promotional certificate. I am also an Elite member. Myabe I should should using my Best Buy Card and go back to my other credit cards.
