Hello,
I tried to private message but I'm told the amount of messages I can send has been exceeded. I've sent zero messages.
I am having the exact same issue and have been getting the exact same run around for a month.
There is not problem with the gift cards. I cashed them in to buy a computer on March 13th. I only want the reward points I'm owed for the 4 e-gift cards.

After two weeks of going back and forth with this issue, the agent told me to try calling the number again. I did and just contineue to get passed around.
There has been no resolution to this issue.
Do not buy e-gift cards from Best Buy and expect to recieve the rewards you are owed through their program.
This company scammed me out of $50 of rewards. Their phone agents, online support, and store personel are unable and unwilling to escalate this issue to someone who can help.

Less than 1 business day after sumbmitting a complaint the the Better Business Beauru this issue was resolved. Best Buy acts like they are doing me a favor however the cashstar sites specifically asks for your rewards number. It would seem like a site asking for that would provide points or in the very least you should get a warning that you are leaving Best Buy.com when you are redirected to cashstar.
