Hi, a similar issue happened with me. All in store purchases linked to my first and very old Best Buy account (because I would use my bestbuy CC and didn't realize that in store it links to the old bestbuy elite number) and I wanted my in store purchases and purchased geek-squad protection plans bought in store also, all on one account in my active more recent account.

You state, "If you do have two active rewards accounts, then we could look into potentially merging them." but when I emailed the link for the merge, the lady who is helping me told me it was done but it's not. She said she did it by, "by switching my emails on the accounts" but you said and she originally said that the, "the accounts and rewards CAN be merged" but now she is saying that the, "rewards and accounts CANNOT be merged"!

So, which is it? I am so exhausted from all this misinformation and no one can just do what they say the company will do. I didn't want my emails on both accounts switched. I could of done that. I wanted them merged or say you can't fulfill what the company says and Ill deal with having two accounts.

Yes but Melissa said she cant merge the two accounts. All she did is swap emails on the account’s but nothings merged. Is that true? I’m so confused what is going on anymore.
