Having the My Best Buy™ Visa card for more than two years without any points being awarded for the purchases made outside of Best Buy has me wondering if you perhaps have more than one rewards account and the rewards account tied to your Visa card just isn't the one currently linked to your BestBuy.com account. A merge would easily solve that, and an easy way to confirm would be to double check the rewards account ID number displayed when you login to the ID number displayed on your Visa card.
I took a quick peek, using the email address you registered with the forum, and it does appear the rewards account with the Visa card isn't currently linked to a BestBuy.com account. Also, it looks like points have been awarded for outside purchases but you can't see them because the correct rewards account isn't linked.
