This same issue happened to me and I've been calling the customer service line but they can't help me since the hacker took over my 2 step verification on my account. Please help! Thank you

To clarify, we do not have the ability to remove or disable two-step verification to help ensure your account is protected. I would like to take a closer look at your account to see what options are available to help you recover this. I will need a bit more information in order to do so. I just replied to the response above, we'll see but so far I have received zero help as to what was promised by Best Buy's "Customer Service". Same thing happened where the agent said somebody in their office would "email me within 24 hours" in regards to the issue. Still can't access my account and will most likely never do business with Best Buy after this... Once my credit is paid, I'm considering closing the line of credit and switching to B&H indefinitely, so we'll see what happens. I'll keep you posted on this thread.
