I purchased a Best Buy E-Gift Card from BestBuy.com back in January 2022 and was never rewarded any Best Buy rewards points. In fact, the purchase does not even show up in my purchase history even though I have the confirmation email. I have called Best Buy phone support several times. First time they told me to wait for the reward to be processed. It never did. Called the next several times but to no avail. They would all say that they couldn't recognize my order because the confirmation number did not start with BBY. I have the order confirmation email and apparently it is coming from Cashstar which is why they cannot recognize the order. I called Cashstar and they stated that Best Buy should honor my points but that I would have to talk to a Best Buy rep. I even went to a physical Best Buy store and was told they couldn't help. I have made a legitamate purchase from BestBuy.com and I should definitely be rewarded for my purchase. Please help!

My Best Buy reward points are one of my own favorite things about shopping at Best Buy, so I certainly understand your desire to keep up on their availability in your membership. What's less satisfying than earning points is encountering obstacles to getting the assistance you need as you've described. Certainly it's not our goal to compound frustrations and I regret that has been your experience.
