In April 2020, Best Buy Visa Credit Card offered a $50 reward certificate if I made five $20 purchases outside of BB on the card by 4/25/20. Due too COVID-19, we were in quarantine so I made my fifth purchase online on 4/22/2020. The charge didn't post to the account until 4/28/20. I have spoken with reps at Rewards three times, Credit Card reps, written messages to Credit Card, and was to receive a call from a Customer Service Rewards supervisor since 6/3/20. On my last call to Rewards Support, they advised me in a very rude manner that the posted date was too late for the promotion. Its UNREASONABLE TO EXPECT A PURCHASE TO TAKE 6 DAYS TO POST. Regardless, I made the purchase timely and trusted Best Buy to DO THE RIGHT THING and award the $50 certificate THAT WILL BE SPENT AT BEST BUY. I tried again to speak to a supervisor and the rude rep informed me that she couldn't forward the message as I am not primary on the account. My husband was away so could not speak to her. I am an authorized user of this account and it seemed she was being punitive because I disputed the policy. When I tried to add my husband to a conference call, she hung up the phone. I have spent a couple of hours attempting to get this resolved favorably on my behalf. We have been a long time customer and Credit Card holder with BB. It is VERY POOR customer service not to honor the promotion $50 certificate. Please advise what else can be done. Thank you in advance.
