So I'm upset with you guys. I made two purchases one for a TV that was around $1,800 and another for a laptop at about $800. Both at different times. Both times I used my credit card. I didn't realize I wasn't getting points because they're financed with the no interest program. I would of skipped the financing, used the credit card and paid it off right away if that was the case. I'm missing out on about 8,000 points because of that and not one single best buy crew member even told me about that. I figured my points were on, I just checked my points looking forward to a nice big certificate to see I have no points. Very upsetting. The staff should be telling people about these things. Now I miss out on $150 bucks in certificates.

Good afternoon, metalsinger84,
Thank you for connecting with us regarding the points for a few of your recent larger purchases, including a TV and laptop. Our My Best Buy Credit Card is a great option to pay for purchases, especially when you can choose between financing or My Best Buy rewards points.
We do our best to make this option as clear as possible for our customers, as our keypads prompt the option at checkout and it is clearly displayed on our Credit Cards page. Under our My Best Buy Terms, purchases made with financing would not qualify for rewards points. I know this information may have caught you by surprise when you found no rewards were issued for these purchases, and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. I hope that this information helps set you up for success in choosing your preferred option on any future purchases.
