It looks like the real beginning of the end for My Best Buy Elite and Elite Plus as I just received an email with the subject above.
There is a Learn More button/link but it currently just takes me to the home page.

Not happy about this email either. I go out of my way to make my purchases at Best Buy because of their point system. If this is the way things are going, I don't see myself shopping there anymore.

So are they just ignoring this now?
"My Best Buy Credit Cardmembers will have the ability to set up point banking to save points until you are ready to issue a reward certificate."
I have always used the card and still got the same email.

I have the same concerns. Can you please post here what's going on with the rewards system?
Are you doing away with point banking? What will the new policy be?
The entire reason I shop at Best Buy as much as I do is for the rewards and the point banking. If this is going away I don't see any reason to continue shopping at Best Buy. This seems like a very hostile move toward your most loyal customers.

I received the same email. Just like the OP the link to "learn more" simply took me to the home page. I further researched and the only info I can find is that you can bank until you need the points. Without the ability to bank, I won't be shopping at Best Buy.

i agree with all of you.
No real reason to continue to shop at BB now.

I don't even recall anyone telling me that the tiers were going away. They are just gone?
This seems like a dumb decision when the people who were Elite and Elite plus were the supporting customers of Best Buy.
