The forum moderators here may be able to help with updating the name on your My Best Buy™ account, although there are only a few specific circumstances under which those changes can be made due to security concerns. As for your Best Buy Credit Card, you'd need to speak with Citibank since they issue and manage those cards. You can reach them at (888) 574-1301.

A: We take name updates very seriously. Instances of misspellings, swapped first and middle names, and legal name changes will be carefully reviewed to see if an update is possible. However, we will not transfer an account to someone else (not even a spouse or other family member) or change a name to an entirely different person. Keep in mind that memberships are intended for individual use, per the program terms.

Getting names changed on different accounts and official documents can be a trying to say the least. We always hope that we are able to alleviate some of that unwarranted hassle and get things taken care of for you, so it'd be a pleasure to see what I can do for you.
Like Sam15 had mentioned, for your credit card you will want to connect with Citibank since they are the issuer of the card; however, if you can send us a Private Message with your full name, email address, and phone number, we can certainly being looking at getting things switched over on our end.
