Received the yearly mystery offer but this time it actually has a code to use for online purchases. Attempted to redeem the code at checkout and it says it's not a valid coupon/promo code.

I'm having the same issue. Every time I try to enter the code online in checkout it says "sorry we didn't recognize this promo code." But on the coupon it clearly states that it can be used online.

With the purchasing of gifts during the holidays, I'd say we're all looking to save a few dollars when we can, and a bonus certificate could certainly help do that. While we do have a number of rewards program related promotional offers planned for December, most, if not all, of those offers are certificate based rather than requiring each member to enter a code. The bonus certificates would be added to each eligible member's rewards account once having been activated via the email we sent. Would you mind posting a screenshot of the offer you received so I can get a better idea as to what it is?

That isn't one of our traditional Mystery Certificates but rather a Cardmember Mystery offer, and once you scratch the offer via the email you received, you'll be presented with one of three offers. Each of those offers will require the use of your My Best Buy credit card in-order to qualify. Based on the images you included, it looks like you received the offer for a percentage off a single purchase, which would require a code to be entered during checkout.
I'd double check to make sure the item in your online cart is eligible per the coupon terms, as that may explain the errors you're encountering. The offer would only apply to regular prices, so any item currently on sale would be excluded. I recived a email as a Best Buy cardmeber for a mystery reward scratch off. It gave me a 10% off single use coupon valid through 12/13. It gave me a online code to use, but when i enter the code it tells me that the it does not recognize the code or it is invalid? tried chat and called the 1 800 and no one can help.

You should have had that coupon applied to your account as a discount you can automatically apply. Did you check that ?
