My Best Buy Card $100 certificate offer

I activated the offer, signed up for the card and made my purchase of $249.99 on January 13th only to not receive the $100. I called and they said they’d send to “back office” to research why. I’m so frustrated as I feel this was a scam.

Someone’s been helping but still seems like it’s a run around. I’ve had to supply screen shots of the offer and the original email with the offer I received. It’s been denied once already and I’m just waiting to hear if they are going to approve it with the documents I supplied. I’m not happy. I take screenshots and save everything because of issues like this.

Honestly, I don’t believe anything anyone says anymore. 1st person said they saw the reward pending on my account and I’d have it within a week. A week later no reward. 2nd person said I had two accounts that needed to be merged and that’s why I hadn’t received it. Called 3rd person and she said I had no other account and she would request to “back office” to research why I didn’t get it. 4th person said they were submitting for me to receive the $100 and I would have it in 24-48 hours and if not to contact back. 5th person advised that previous request was denied and then I supplied all documents I had and here I am waiting. So 5 people so far and I’ve gotten no where. They said to give it til Thursday and if I don’t have it, to contact back again. Whether I do business with this company again will be based off how they resolve this. This is very scammy and I’m so disappointed that we have to jump through hoops in order to receive something THEY offered and complied all with rules. I’m so done.

Just wanted to add resolution. The Best Buy team here did assist me and I was finally given the $100 certificate today.

I’m glad they helped. I never even responded to mine after hearing how they’d given you the run around as well. Guess I’ll follow up too now. Thanks!

You’re welcome and good luck! Just give the original email with the offer if you received that and any screen shots you may have. That seemed to do the trick for me.

I have the exact same issue and also is getting a run around since Jan 30th, 2023. I have called them almost 5 times and no solutions. Very disappointed. Thanks for posting!

Did you receive your $100 certificate?  I am having a same issue. I called and chat with associate several times already.  I was promissed that I would receive the promotion reward of $100 by Feb 28 but I have not received one yet.
