I have a question about the My Best Buy $25 (1250 My Best Buy points) bonus.
The terms state: "Receive 1,250 My Best Buy points (equivalent to a $25 My Best Buy reward certificate) when you purchase any smartphone or activate any new line on your next smartphone or new line purchase and activation. Offer is nontransferable. No cash value. No copies. Valid starting 7/14/15 in Best Buy stores."
Does "in Best Buy stores" mean this offer does not apply to purchases and activations made on BestBuy.com?
If it does apply to BestBuy.com purchases, will the bonus show as pending? I know it may take up to 20 days from the activation date to post, but should there be an indication that the points are pending?

I am going to suggest what I have suggested to other members that you please read some of my prior responses above because there really isn't anything different I can tell you when it comes to the mobile offer in-question. This offer is valid in-store and online. You are not likely to see a bonus certificate or points appear as pending. If you did in-fact qualify per the offer terms then a $25 bonus certificate ($25 = 1,250 points) should post to your account within about 20 days. Please keep in mind that you are not likely to receive a bonus certificate after enrolling in the mobile program and upgrading or purchasing a mobile phone as the offer is intended to award a member after all that when they come back to Best Buy to upgrade or purchase another mobile line. If a bonus certificate does not post after 20 days then you likely did not qualify.

As I have asked other members to do, please read through some of my previous responses above regarding the My Best Buy™ Mobile promotion. If a $25 bonus certificate or 1,250 bonus points do not post to your account within 20 days, then you likely have not qualified yet. I would suggest making sure you are properly enrolled in the My Best Buy™ Mobile program and that your new iPhone 7 is registered. If that is all good-to-go then you should qualify for a bonus certificate the next time you purchase or upgrade a mobile line and attach it to your My Best Buy™ account. You may notice that I have merged your thread with another thread where I have already responded to questions about the My Best Buy™ mobile offer, as there is simply not a lot more I can say on the matter. This offer is not intended to award a member bonus certificates for just purchasing or upgrading a mobile phone. If you did not purchase or upgrade a mobile phone on or after 7/15/2015 and enroll in the My Best Buy™ mobile program before purchasing the two iPhone 7s in-question, then you would not qualify for a bonus certificate.
It can generally take up to 20 days for points to officially post to a member's account. While it does appear 1,250 points recently posted to your account, you may actually have received those points in error. I could not find where you or your husband had attached a newly purchased phone to your My Best Buy™ account prior to the recent purchases. With that being said, you should qualify for a second $25 bonus certificate the next time you purchase or upgrade a mobile phone and attach it to the same My Best Buy™ account.
If you have any other questions about your account or the My Best Buy™ mobile offer, then please feel free to send me a private message and I will see what I can do to further assist. Your husband will need to register for the forum and send me a private message if the purchase in-question was attached to his account. Hi so I took advantage of the moto z droid permission yesterday November 27, 2016. Everything went by smoothly except for signing up for my best buy mobile rewards. It was not able to be done in stores during the 3 transactions that I and my siblings did. The associate said to sign up online because he was having problems instore. I have been trying to do this online all day to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can enroll in the My Best Buy™ mobile program here. The mobile lines would need to be registered with the My Best Buy™ program account that was attached to the purchase. If the purchases were attached to your program account then those lines would need to be registered under your account. Otherwise your sibling would need to register the lines under their account. Please keep in mind that you would need to have enrolled into the mobile program either before or during the purchase to be eligible for a bonus certificate. You may not be eligible for a bonus certificate until your next mobile purchase/upgrade if you were unable to enroll before or during the purchase. Also, I would ask that you read over some of my prior responses in this thread regarding how the mobile offer functions. It may take up to 20 days for 1,250 bonus points to post to your account if you did qualify.

I am writing in to express my frustrations with the misinformation being provided to guests by team members (online via chat & in store) and/or the confusion its causing. I know i'm not alone in having seen the $25 cert offer banner and impulsively completing a purchase only to discover you've only just qualified for the opportunity to buy into the reward. It didnt feel like I was being rewarded, felt like I had been duped into a long term commitment. Anyway, I didn't come just to complain, with experienced comes wisdom! After purchasing a device using an upgrade on a line, I paid it off and restored the upgrade. At checkout I was invited to join my best buy mobile(which I was already enrolled in, but had not yet registered this line's number yet. I clicked through to the final checkout page and when I finalized the sale, a pop up banner came up congratulating me for fulfilling the purchase requirement of the offer. After I paid the device off, I went shopping on bestbuy.com and once I added a device to the package, a plan, and opted out of insurance. My basket showed the 1250 points was added to my basker, sighting a 15 day wait before it posts to my account. You should see very clear insignia for the mobile rewards offer if you qualify. It doesn't show up on your receipt or pop up instantly in your email, but still...My main problem is the mandated wait time of 15 days because if we purchased on the condition that we receive the certificate, then the error won't be fixed in time.
