Reward points

Hi 

 

I am very disappointed with mybestbuy mobile rewards and bestbuy customer service regarding that. 

 

one day I have seen offers like 7500 mobile reward points for each line on my bestbuy mobile for upgrade. I upgraded 3 mobile numbers. 

 

I was supposed to received mobile reward points but never received. contacted bestbuy rewards customer service but of no use.

 

What is my next step. Luckily I saved the screenshots of the orders.

Missing/Incorrect My Best Buy Mobile points

I have had to contact Best Buy twice about missing points, but the missing points I have now is bordering on ridiculous. I am going to post my dilemma here to make it public to all.

The points I am missing are from the My Best Buy Mobile...from the activation bonus. I have Sprint service.

I placed orders in 8/11 for 3 S7 edge phones. When I ordered I took screen shots that showed that for the silver color I should receive 3750 points, and for the black 2500 points. I ordered 2 silver and one black...one I ordered on a work computer and the others I ordered at home later that night. The offer of activation points was the same.

Also, on 8/16 I placed an order for an LG G6. The order showed that I should receive 2500 points I took a screenshot of that as well.

I have uploaded the 4 screenshots here as proof of what I should receive. I contacted Best Buy about the missing points (as I hadn't received any) and was manually awarded 3750 points on 9/4 ( 1250 each for 2 of the S7 Edge orders, and 1250 for missing points on an S8 plus).

So what I should be due is:
Silver S7 Edge: 3750 - 1250 manually awarded = 2500
Silver S7 Edge: 3750 - 1250 manually awarded = 2500
Black S7 Edge: 2500 - 0 awarded = 2500
Lg G6 : 2500 - 0 awarded = 2500
I have received the runaround as I have been replying to the 9/4 email confirming the manual partial awards of the points. Some reps have ignored the screenshots proving the proper rewards and said that I have all the awards I should have. Others have accepted the screenshots and confirmed I what I should receive. Others have not responded at all

Finally today I had a rep who told me that mobile phone purchases paid for by gift cards do not qualify for the activation bonus!! This "rule" nowhere to be found in the My Best Buy Mobile FAQ and other places online. Also, it would have no application since I bought all these phones on installment plans from Sprint through Best Buy, making the order cost $0!! This shows up in each order confirmation.

Will someone PLEASE help me get the points I am due?? I am tired of playing games with reps giving me the runaround.

This is a great offer that has been pretty popular with our customers, so I'm glad you chose to participate as well! I'm sorry if it hasn't been fulfilled as you expected though, and for any trouble you've endured trying to sort this out. 

With that said, this offer is dependent on future purchases, as outlined here. Once you purchase a device and enroll it in the program, you wouldn't receive a reward until your next phone purchase. Please know that this offer is for $25 per line (1250 points), so it seems there may have been a display issue when you were upgrading your phones, likely due to upgrading multiple lines at once. I apologize for any confusion that this may have caused you.

Purchased Phone with Upgrade/No 2500 pts.

I purchased a Samsung Note 8 through the Online Store with an Open Upgrade I had on my Account.

When going through the process best buy website stated i would recieve 2500 pts equaling $25 in Rewards.

A month has now passed and I have not recieved my points.

I called a week after purchase to ask about points to be told that i would have to wait another week for it to show. Well 4 weeks now and still now points.

This is currently an on-going issue with others as well which shows me that Best Buy is not doing what is clearly promised in its sales transaction.

If this is not corrected i will be forced to take further actions to address this with my documented proof of offer promised.

Where are my Bonus Points

I have upgraded my mobile phone and there is a special offer that says "Get 1,250 reward points when you upgrade or add a line to your account. Points awarded 15 days after device activation." It has been more than 15 days and i still dont have the 1250 reward points. Please advise

No rewards for new phones

I purchased two Note 8's on their launch day last month, September 15th. I'm enrolled in My Best Buy mobile yet I have not received the $25 certificate per phone. I even added a new line for the second phone.

Am I missing something?

I also ordered the note 8 and it said when i purchased it online 2500 rewards points 15 days after activation. My phone was activated on 9/15 but no points, when do i get these credited?

With that said, I apologize if you haven't seen your Mobile rewards fulfilled as you expected. Provided you met the requirements of the offer, you should have seen the $25 (1250 points) added to your membership a couple weeks after your purchase. 

For further insight into this offer, please feel welcome to review our My Best Buy Mobile page. Please note that this offer is dependent on future purchases. As such, unless you had a previously registered device, you wouldn't quite qualify for the offer until your next device purchase.
