Missing reward certificate after a return. Please take a moment to read this

Glad to find this place Smiley Happy I ended up returning an item from order {removed per forum guidelines} for which I used $24 reward certificate. However, upon return the receipt shows only that $4 will ve credited back to my account instead of $24.Please help me solve this. Was on the phone with a representative but got disconnected. Thanks in advance for your time. Uploading links of my receipt and order details.

Good morning Dimenum,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for reaching out to us to check on your certificate status! When using a reward certificate on an order with multiple items, the certificate will be split among the items. When only part of the order is returned you should typically be able to count on whatever portion of the certificate applied to the returned item to be credited.

With that said, there are exceptions to this. Often when a certificate is awarded for a promotion, points will not be added for it, as the certificate is intended to be used as a one-time use coupon. These also tend to have shorter redemption periods, such as 30 days rather than 60. As these are intended to be one-time use coupons, they are not credited upon an items return or cancelation from an order. For more information, please feel welcome to check out the post below.
