Missing Promotional Reward Certificate

So I received an email on March 11th that declared that if I made 5 purchases of $20 or more outside of Best Buy by 4/24, I would receive a $50 reward certificate. I made my 5 purchases by 4/6 and still haven't received my certificate. I called both Best Buy and Citibank and neither person could help me or even knew what I was talking about. I don't know what else to do or who to contact? Thanks for any assistance.

Welcome to our forums!  I love getting different promotional offers just for being a My Best Buy® Credit Card holder, as they’re usually a great way to earn rewards just for using my card.  While I personally didn’t receive the offer you’re describing, I am aware of this particular promotion, and would be happy to assist in any way I can.


Per the terms of this promotion you’re referring to, once your offer has been activated, this certificate should post to your account 3-4 weeks after your qualifying purchases have been made.  If you’re still not seeing your certificate in your account, I’ll be happy to take a closer look, and offer any additional assistance I can.  For me to do so, I’ll just need you to send me a private message with:


  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your My Best Buy® Member ID #
