Missing Points

First lets go through the math of my reward points..

 

I had 229 points on $667 worth of purchases prior to 11/4/2021 and made the following purchases;

 

11/5/2022     $2839.95

11/6/2021     $349.99

11/15/2021   $2499.99

 

That is a total of $5689.93 before tax and by my reasoning I would have moved to Elite Plus after spending over $3500 YTD in 2021 ($667 + $2839.95 = $3506.95

 

The point allocation for the 11/5/2021 purchase would have been at .5 points per dollar spent because I was at the bottom tier, so I should have received 1419 points(which i did receive correctly)

The next day I spent another $349.99, which because I am now in the Elite Plus tier should have awarded me 1.5 points per dollar spent for a total of 525 points

 

Two Weeks later on 11/15/2021 i spent $2499.99 which again should have been 1.5 points per dollar for a total of 3750 points.

 

I have went through this math with so many people at Best Buy, 12 phone calls since early december when i first saw the inaccurate points

 

I had hoped to use the rewards for xmas shopping.

 

I have spent hours on the phone with promises that i would receive a phone call or email in a few days to rectify the issue and I have heard nothing from anyone.

 

Unfortunately the return policy has passed and I can not return the items otherwise I would do so and steer clear of Best Buy for future purchases.

 

Hopefully someone who cares sees this and can help me out.

Welcome to our forums!  Being a My Best Buy™ member is a great way to be rewarded just for shopping with us, and it’s awesome to hear you’ve recently become an Elite Plus member in the last few months.  One of the many perks of being an Elite Plus member is earning rewards much faster, so I can certainly understand why you’d want to make sure you’re not missing out on any rewards for your purchases with us late last year.
