I had to change the payment method for a purchase I made on 12/22. I was told the reward certificate I used towards that original purchase will be returned to my account in 3 business days or so. It's 6 business days and I still don't have it back. Can anyone help look into why I'm not getting my certificate back?

Thanks for reaching out about your recent purchase and the My Best Buy certificate that was used on it. I can understand not seeing that certificate being returned to you wouldn't be welcome.
Typically, if an item is returned that a My Best Buy certificate was used on, when that item is returned, the value of the certificate would be credited to your My Best Buy account in the form of points. Depending on how what value you have your certificates set to issue at, a new certificate may automatically be generated once the points have reached your account.
