About two weeks ago my Best Buy Account lost all of my prior orders and all of my reward points. My member ID looks like it was changed to a different one but when I try to use my original one I just get an error. I'm hoping that this is just some sort of glitch that can be fixed as I had a good amount of points and certificates that I was not able to use. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like you may have come across this thread over the weekend seeing as you sent us a private message with your details so that we can review your rewards account. If it turns out you do have more than one rewards account and the details tied to each one match, then we should have no problem processing a merge. I called Best Buy Support to help me fix an issue where when I logged in, it was showing my dad's name even though he passed away over a decade ago.
It would alway say Welcome, *his name* for years. A few days ago I decided to call and finally fix it.
What I didn't know was that the customer support rep that got my call said I actually had 3 accounts to my phone number and e-mail so that's why the issue was happening.
He asked me if I wanted to remove the other two accounts that weren't me, and I said yes, please remove the other names on my log in - but I didn't know that it would mess up my Best Buy Orders and Recent Purchases information.
Bascially, they fixed the issue of the wrong name showing up, but now all of the Best Buy points and order history of purchases I've made for this year and the past several years are now gone.
I called again in hopes to get all of that back - my recent points and order history by merging my current account with the old account and the rep said yes, it's possible and I would receive an e-mail notification of merging the old account back.
But it's been several days and I haven't seen or heard of any fix about to happen.
Is this normal? I purchased something last week and now I can't even pull up the invoice in the order history. Very frustrating.
