I need to merge multiple accounts that are under my email address

I need to merge multiple accounts that are under my email address. Every time I sign in online with my email and password, it says my mothers name, Julie, and I know for a fact my name Conor {removed per forum guidelines} is under that same email as well. Can I please merge all the accounts I have under that email. {removed per forum guidelines} is the email.

Greetings Ahlering, and welcome to the Best Buy forum,

 

First, please take a moment to read over some of our responses in this ongoing thread.  Second, please read over the FAQ that I have provided below that is currently floated at the top of My Best Buy™ section of the forum.   We cannot merge multiple accounts if the name tied to each account does not match.  I would be unable to merge your account with your mother's account.  It is intended for a program account to be used by a single member with that member not sharing their benefits, points, or certificates with anyone else.

 

With that having been said, I have set it up so that your name is displayed when you login to your account.  Please feel free to send me a private message if you have any other questions about your account or the My Best Buy™ program in-general and I will see what I can do to further assist.  A private message can be sent by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the blue button in my signature hat just so happens to be labeled "Private Message."

Missing points/ Added to another account

I made a purchase a few days ago and the receipt says 0 points posted , and I cant seem to find in my order history , is it possible I have 2 accounts ? & if so can I merge accounts ?

You sent me a private message inquiring about a potential merge and then for some reason create a brand new thread.  In the future, I would suggest either first creating a new thread or just skip straight to sending a private message.  Both are not required.  Please take a moment my response to the private message you sent me by clicking on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.

Points, purchases, phone... all gone from my account after making a purchase at store

Hello,

 

I've had a MyBestBuy account for long time.

Two days ago I made an in store purchase. The lady asked me for my phone and she found me in the system... she didn't say anything but I imagined she would add the new purchase to my account.

 

Immediately, I got two emails from BestBuy as 'welcome' and asking me to register. It was confusing, why did they welcome me when I'm already a member at that very same email address?

 

Anyway, then I logged to my account with my same email address and the same password I had... however now the account is completely empty... no history or purchases, no points, not even the rescent purchase... nothing.... 

 

So, what happened here? Can anybody from BB assist?

Not only can I explain what happened but I can assist too!  It looks like the store created a secondary My Best Buy™ account for you, which is not linked to your BestBuy.com account.  That is why it looks as if points and purchases are missing.  All we need to do is merge the two accounts, which should be a piece of cake if they share the same information.  Please send me a private message with the information listed below and I will see what I can do to help get everything squared away for you.  To send a private message, you will first want to login to the forum and then click on the blue button in my signature.

Weird Issue

Hello - I recently went to pick up an online order ({removed per forum guidelines}) and decided to purchase another item in store on June 13. During the checkout process I was asked for my rewards acct number, and I gave the clerk my phone number. In doing so it brought up an older address attached to my account so I updated it to my current one. 

 

Ever since this purchase, my order history is no longer accessible for me to look up or see for purchases made prior to that day (points, history, etc) online. For example - the online order I originally went to pick up is listed on my account home, but not visible in the purchase history area of my account. Also, I was a gamers club unlocked subscriber (bought in late September 2015 with Mario Maker in Best Buy Store #174) and I went to purchase a game on June 15 and the gamers club unlocked was not attached to my phone number so I had to buy another subscription although I should have had ~3 more months of the services.

 

So my question is

1) What can I do to merge my accounts if there is a discrepancy from the change of address, or what caused this issue?

2) Due to my profile should have had at least 3 more months of gamers club unlocked, what can be done to add that duration to my account or have I lost access to those benefits from my original purchase?

Welcome to the Best Buy forum!

 

I can imagine having questions about your account after logging into find points are missing and your Unlocked membership has disappeared.  While it may seem a tad weird, the issue at hand is actually quite common.  You simply have two active My Best Buy™ accounts that need to be merged.  The store associate likely created a second account while attempting to help update your mailing address.  Any points or certificates in the secondary account will transfer over to the primary account following the merge, including your Unlocked membership.  Please send me a private message with the information listed below, by clicking on the blue button in my signature, and I will take care of the rest.
