I had a question about whether there was a maximum number of Reward Certificates that can be used on a purchase. I know there is a maximum of 15 gift cards that can be used in store and 10 that can be used for online purchases. Are there any similar limits on the number of Reward Certificates that can be used? In addition, do any Reward Certificates used count against the number of Gift Cards that can be used or are they considered a completely separate means of payment? For example, could I use 10 gift cards for an online purchase (or 15 for in store) in addition to using several Reward Certificates too? Thanks in advance for any information that you can provide.

Thanks for reaching out about using your My Best Buy certificates and gift cards. These are both a great way to reduce your out-of-pocket costs when making a purchase, so I can understand wanting to know how each of them work to maximize how far they'll go.
With My Best Buy reward certificates, there is no limit to the number of certificates that you use, but the limit is based on the value of the item(s) that you are purchasing. You can use the certificates on qualifying products or services that total an amount equal to or greater than the value of the reward certificates used. Certificates are issued in $5 increments, which essentially are coupons that reduce the cost of the item(s) purchased. For example, if you have $25 in reward certificates, the pre-tax value of the qualifying items in your purchase would need to be $25 or more. If you were to select an item that was $24.99, only $20 of the certificates would be able be used. You can learn more about using reward certificates here.
Once you've used any reward certificates towards the purchase, the remaining balance would be paid with your payment method(s) of choice. This could be gift cards, credit or debit cards, or any of the payment options listed here. Any limitations of the number of payment options would vary depending on what payment method is selected and if you purchase online versus in-store.
I hope that this helps answer your question. If you should have any additional questions though, please feel free to let me know! You're always welcome to send me a private message, if preferred, using the button in my signature below.
