I had technical trouble trying to place an order on your website on 11/11/2020 to prevent the loss of "Program Inactivity Expiration" points that I realized that day. The site kept disconnecting me. I was not able to place an order till 11/12/2020 but by that time you already took away my 125 points. Can you reinstate the 125 points since it was not by doing that the Best Buy website was having trouble on 11/11/2020?

Hello again, Len,
I can understand not wanting those 125 points to seemingly fall by the wayside, especially when only 125 more would be enough for a $5 certificate. The points in a member's rewards accounts will be converted into certificates down to the $5 level with remaining points to be forfeited should their rewards account go inactive for 12 consecutive months. Basically, members need to interact with their rewards account in some fashion in-order to hang on to their points, and the easiest ways to avoid inactivity are to make a purchase (no matter that total), convert awarded points into a certificate, or redeem a certificate. Please send me a private message with the details listed below, by clicking on the envelope in my signature, and I'll review your rewards account.

To remain eligible for the Program, you must maintain an active account. Account activity means a qualifying purchase made with your My Best Buy membership, issuance of My Best Buy program points for incented actions (example: check-in), reward certificate redemption (in store or online), or self-issuance of a reward certificate where you select the reward certificate amount and issue it ("Account Activity"). If your account (except Elite Plus accounts) is inactive for a period of 12 consecutive months, we will issue you reward certificate(s) in 250-point increments, and you will forfeit the right to any remaining points less than 250.
Best Wishes,
