Very frustrated to learn that I lost over $500 in Reward Certificates. As a new BestBuy credit card holder, I was encouraged to open a card because I was purchasing 6 large appliances. I was told I needed to pay off these purchases and would have a large amount to use for a washer/dryer. Well, due to Covid, things were postponed. I called BB and it was extended. I didn't realize it was only 6 months and now certificate expired. That is ALOT of money to lose. Just made another purchase to use gift cards I had, but the fact that BB won't honor that amount or even 1/2 or a 1/4 of that amount is disgusting. Shame on you!

Thank you for posting on our forum, although I hate to hear you missed out on these reward certificates. I can understand your disappointment after these expired, and I'm happy to share details surrounding our My Best Buy Terms as far as certificates go.
Once a certificate has been issued, it is usually valid for 60 days unless otherwise noted on the certificate itself. We typically cannot reissue certificates once they've expired, either. That said, I'd be happy to review your account and provide any further assistance that I can.
