Item Not Linked to Account

I made a purchase a few days ago, but I realized after I got home that I never provided my phone number to look up my Best Buy account. When I look at my purchases in the app, it's not showing the item tied to my account. Would there be a way to get it linked to my account so I may get the points for said purchase, as well as have it on file for any potential future issues?

Hi Sumcha,

 

Luckily, we have a tool available on BestBuy.com for just such an occasion. Smiley Happy This tool will allow you to report a purchase as "missing" if it for whatever reason wasn't attached to your rewards account at the start.  I have used it many times in the past to report my own purchases.  You should have no problem reporting your recent purchase as long as it is not already attached to a rewards account, is not more than 180 days old, and you had an active rewards account prior to the purchase.  I have provided a link to a guide below that should come in handy.

 

If you have any trouble reporting your purchase on BestBuy.com, then please feel free to send me a private message and i will see what I can do to help make sure it gets reported.  I would just ask that you include the below information.  To send a private message, you would first want to login to the forum and then click on the blue button in my signature that just so happens to be labeled "Private Message."
