It is possible that Best Buy committed a fraud

In December 2022 Best Buy advertised $25 Reward Certificate " Activate this offer and spend $250 or more at Best Buy with your My Best buy Credit Card and get $25 reward certificate". "Valid Dec 13-19, 2022"

I activated this order and have a copy of my successful activation.  I made a purchase with My Best buy Credit Card for $500.76 on 12/14/22.  I have a receipt.  However, I have not received my $25 reward.

I spent over two hours on phone with completely incompetent Best Buy's representatives located overseas. My numerus requests to be transferred to a US customer service were denied.


I believe that Best Buy committed a fraud.

I will wait a few days and if no resolution, I will file a complain with BBB, NCDOJ, North Carolina Consumer Protection Division.  I have all relevant documentation.

Best Buy did not commit fraud. There are terms and conditions set forth in each offer. It could be possible your purchase did not meet the criteria- or your purchase was selected for no interest financing which nullifys any special offers you may have received. 


I would call the My Best Buy Credit card phone line in the morning and verify your purchase to see if a store associate did the no interest financing as Best Buy runs those promos from time to time.
