Help with chat issue

I purchased a laptop thru chat on April 1 at and was told I could use my rewards from previous purchase when they came in. I was told by rep that she would reo active the points on my purchase, I am a disabled and can not go to the store so instead of waiting I made the purchase trusting your representative. I have now spent many days and time trying to resolve this issue with no luck, I am transferred from department to department with all telling me it is not there fault. I have have asked to speak to a supervisor at least 4 times with no luck every rep tells me their supervisor will repeat the same information, one rep asked for my info and his name was sabastion from Mexico city, he claimed I would get a call back which I have not. I have a copy of the transcript where the rep clearly states for me to contact her and she will apply the rewards, I have contacted her and now she says she can not. I also have copies of all the text with 5his representative who’s phone number is {removed per forum guidelines}

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for reaching out regarding your laptop purchase! Laptops can be quite an investment, so using My Best Buy reward certificates on them to save some money. It sounds like you were still waiting for the rewards to post though, so I understand you wanting to see how this could be done as well. 


With that said, under our My Best Buy Terms, reward certificates are unable to be applied to prior purchases. I understand you may have had promises made to you stating otherwise, leading to your current troubles with getting these certificates applied. I apologize for any misinformation you may have received, and would like to look further into this with you.
