Expired certificate??

Hello,
I recall recently receiving $55 in rewards. However, when I just signed in to my account in hopes of using them, I noticed they are gone. I did not receive any notification that they were going to expire. As a long time cardholder, it is very disappointing to have my rewards disappear without my knowledge. What can be done to avoid these issues?

Re: Expired certificate??

Hello, CLC4021,

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for reaching out! I know I love receiving My Best Buy reward certificates. Whenever one is received, I almost always immediately plan my purchase. I can imagine you were excited to log into your BestBuy.com account, and were confused to find your $55 certificate was gone.

Under our My Best Buy Terms, certificates are typically valid for up to 60 days unless otherwise noted. This expiration date is generally reflected on the certificate if printed, as well as on BestBuy.com, and in the email notification that a certificate has been issued. We do our best to make our members aware of their certificates, but understand that emails be overlooked or filtered, so we recommend members keep an eye their memberships via BestBuy.com. For more details, please feel welcome to check out the post below.
