"My husband and I have reward certificates that expired on Sept 30. When we realized a day later(Oct.1)that they were expiring we started calling customer service for help.We are in our mid to upper 70's and have not gone to a store or done any travelling due to covid.We have a home in Boca Raton ,Fl and planned on using our certificates there but have not been able to travel to that home.We returned an item for that house in March because we couldn't have someone come into the house to install because of covid and then obtained the reissue of the certificates. We left there in March to come to our children in NY and have not been able to travel back to Florida since then. I know that we have had these extended previously but we had every intention to use them if it weren't for the virus. Our lives have been turned upside down,my husband and I have recently undergone surgery and we are trying(like most people) to get back to our lives. We are asking for special consideration under these awful circumstances to help us by reissuing the rewards that we earned one more time.We plan to be able to drive to our Florida home in the next few weeks and then we will go right to the Boca Raton store and make our purchases for our home. I have called every few days since Oct 1, have 6 different case numbers and have been told that a supervisor would call me. This has not happened and we have been so disappointed by the complete lack of courtesy and commitment to good customers. Our member ID is XXXXXXXXXX and the last case number (one of many) is XXXXXXXXX. I hope that you will be able to honor our simple request of reissuing these reward certificates ($218.03) As I stated before,none of this would have happened if not for this pandemic and many other industries have had to make changes to their policies because of these unusual times and give refunds when they normally would not have done. . I am hoping that you will hear our request and make this exception at this time. Thank you so much . .

Generally, My Best Buy certificates are valid for 60 days and can be used both at our store locations and on BestBuy.com. Once a My Best Buy certificate has expired we are unable to reissue it. I'd like to take a look at your case history and get a better understanding of what previous agents have done so far.
