Hello, cdussold,
Welcome to the forum, and thank you for reaching out regarding your My Best Buy reward certificates! Having a reward certificate expire would be frustrating indeed, especially if they were being issued without your knowledge.
Under our My Best Buy Terms, while points do not expire on active accounts, certificates typically have 60 days to be redeemed, unless otherwise noted. Once expired, we’re generally unable to reissue them. Unless a member is an Elite or Elite Plus member that opts into banking your points, certificates would be automatically issued. We do our best to make our customers aware a certificate has been issued, as we send out email notifications that include the expiration date. As emails may be filtered, overlooked, or even blocked though, we recommend members manage their rewards from BestBuy.com, where certificates can be viewed as well. For more details, you may view the article below.

I know this may not have been the news you were hoping for. Should you like me to take a closer look at your membership though, I would be happy to do so. If so, please feel welcome to send me a private message with your name, phone number, and email address via the link in my signature below.
Sincerely,
