I'm seeing that others are having the same issues here, as I had a certificate awarded to my account that I was not able to visit a physical location to use/shop for an item that I wanted. Sadly with the length of these shutdowns, most certificates would be expired even at a 60 day redemption. I tried to make a number attempts to chat with support on the site, and every time that was greeted with "No representatives are available" no matter the time of day that I tried.
Is there any consideration (I've read the FAQ and understand that the policy is to not renew those certificates) to maybe extend those redemption periods now that "Stay at Home" ORDERS have been relaxed?
I would really like to take advantage of an awarded certificate rather than to forfeit them...
Thank you for your consideration.

Hello, Chris,
Thank you for being a My Best Buy member, and reaching out regarding your expired certificates. I know I am always pretty excited to redeem a certificate, so missing out on a chance to do so would be pretty upsetting.
Under our My Best Buy Terms, certificates typically have 60 days to be redeemed, unless otherwise noted. Once they expire though, we’re typically unable to reissue them, as you've read. We do our best to make our customers aware a certificate has been issued, as we send out email notifications that include the expiration date. While I know the current climate has everyone adapting, certificates have not been extended as they are redeemable both on BestBuy.com but also in stores, which have mostly been open for curbside services.
