I had a $10 certificate I decided to use today, but I couldn't find it. I looked through my e-mail and saw that it had expired. I thought that as an Elite member I could save them indefinitely, but apparently that's just my points. Is there any way I can get a one time renewal of my certificate? Thanks!

Hello again spikemonkey,
Thank your for taking the time to reconnect with us on the forum!
I have personally lost a few reward certificates over the years to expiration dates with each one feeling like a missed opportunity. I can imagine you felt similar after noticing that your $10 reward certificate had expired. It doesn't matter if a reward certificate is valued at $5 or $100. Any amount of money you can keep in your pocket is a good feeling, and we are all looking to save a few dollars during the holiday season.
Our members with Elite and Elite Plus status do have the option to bank their points and convert them into certificates when they decide rather than having them automatically issued. The key word is option. A member would need to login to their rewards account after their status has officially been upgraded to Elite or Elite Plus and change their certificate preference to bank. If you do have Elite status and are not currently banking your points, then I would highly suggest that you consider that option.
I would like to go over your rewards account with you in additional detail to see if you want to start banking points and to see if there are any other questions I can potentially help answer, so I will be sending you a private message shortly. You can read private messages by first logging into the forum and then clicking on the little yellow envelope icon that is located at the very top of the page. I look forward to further speaking with you.
