I have multiple items in my cart and the item subtotal before tax is $122.96.
I have a $15, $20, and $100 reward card to use, I am able to apply the $15 and $20 reward but when I try to use the $100 reward at any point I get the error message "Sorry, but your reward certificate can’t be used because it exceeds the value of eligible items in your order."

We appreciate the time you have taken to write to us on the Best Buy forum. Receiving certificates is the best way to tackle your shopping wish list. That is why I can understand your disappointment on receiving an error message when trying to apply them as you are checking out.
Have you tried to apply the $100 certificate first? Applying the $15 or the $20 certificate can be bringing the pre-tax total below $100, which is why you may be getting the error.

Yes I have tried to do that. It does not let me apply the $100 reward when I:
Basically I get the bounce back message at any point in the checkout process. The $100 reward expres on 05/25/19 so it's not expired.

Thanks for the clarification. The pre-tax totals on a purchase must exceed the certificate(s) amount that is being applied. For example, if the total was under $10, and you were attempting to place an order for less than $10, it would be a non-qualifying redemption.
I hope this helps clarify your experience! If you have any other questions, please let me know!

The purchase pre-tax must exceed the value of the certificates. You can use the $100 + $20 or the $15. You will not be allowed to use all three certificates.
Certain exclusions do apply when using the certificate, please see the Program Terms for exceptions.
