In the past if I used a RZ certificate on a preorder and later canceled the order before it shipped I would get my points back so I could use on something else.However, with the changes in January is this still the case?

I can't find the wording anywhere on the site that said you got points back for canceled items. I have the credit card, but site says "Reward certificate value forfeited upon return of product or service purchased with certificate." It doesn't say anything about canceling or preorders.

Thanks for reaching out. With the currently evolving changes in our rewards program, I can understand how it may cause some confusion. When an order is cancelled, the certificates used for payment should go back to your Best Buy account within 3 business days.
