Did not receive reward certificate from a refund

I refunded an item that a portion was paid for by a reward certificate. When I returned the item, the receipt showed no mention of the certificate and the item rang up $25 less than what I paid

Welcome back to our community forums. I know I would want to make sure I was able to take full advantage of a My Best Buy certificate if I were in your shoes. I'd be glad to give you some more information about this process and see how I can help. 

 

Generally, certificates can take up to three days to be available in your account if a purchase is returned or cancelled. Do you know if this was a promotional certificate? These are able to be used once and are not refunded as they do not have a point value.
