Did Not Receive points - not cool! Whole purchase experience very disappointing

Hi Best Buy,

 

First I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy. Most of the time my Best Buy purchases are great and I consider you guys my adult Toys R Us store. I am though getting quite exhausted with a purchase that seems to have been an issue since day one. Could you please assist in rectifying this issue. Please see numerous issues below

 

  • purchased a TV immediately after opening best buy cc to get the 10% in rewards
  • Purchase amount ~$2400
  • Warranty was supposed to be $419 which was confirmed prior to purchase.
  • Charged instead $450 and had to drive back to store to get this corrected. Told ooops our bad..we can’t fix this today since you just opened card come back tomorrow which is just ridiculous.
  • Have to drive back to store the next day to get the $30 dollar credit and it get better from there. To pour even more salt in the wound you take back over 600 points in rewards due to the $30 dollar refund. Why would you do that to a customer like that for something that is not even their fault. On top of that.. that should have been a max of 150 points pulled back not ~600 plus

 

Then to make things even worse you dont even honor the 10% in rewards points you only gave me 5% in reward points for the total transaction and then take back another 600 plus points.

 

Could you please give me my missing points and provide me the 10% points for the transaction purchase with the new BB Credit Card you are not following your guidelines on what is promised and documented. Also after a horrible TV purchases experience where I spent thousands of dollars could you also pull back the extra ~600 points you took as well due to the 30 dollar refund I was due.

 

-issue 1 that requires resolve.. only received 5% in rewards and should have received 10%

-issue 2 you took another 600 points back from me in reward points due to a mistake your employee did which made me have to drive back to the store two days in a row due to their mistake. Only should pull -150 points back. ...Not ~600 for a $30 dollar price correction.

 

All these issues cause a Best Buy sale was dragged over to Magnolia so they could get their commission. Not cool Best Buy... you are usually top notch stellar and provide amazing customer service. I should just return the item and I will if you do not correct this and provide the over 6-7k missing points I am owed due to the purchase being eligible for the 10% in rewards.

Welcome back to our community forums. Getting 10% on your first purchase using a My Best Buy credit card is a great benefit and I can understand wanting to make sure you receive all these points. I would be glad to see how I may be able to best assist you.

 

How long ago did you make this purchase? Generally, these bonus points can take up to 20 days to appear on your account or 35 days for Magnolia purchases. This would begin depending on when you received your purchase.

 

It does sound that so many points were deducted after making this adjustment and I would like to take a closer look at this. I will need some more details to do so.
