While I find no joy in helping a member cancel their rewards account, it is something I can help with. You will not find a cancel option online. Please keep in mind that any active points, certificates, tier status, or spend total will be forfeited upon cancellation and cannot be reissued. Also, while a rewards account can be cancelled, a BestBuy.com account cannot be cancelled or deleted. A BestBuy.com account would end up getting retired if it were to go inactive for an extended period of time.
With that having been said, I replied to a private message you sent us regarding the current status of your rewards account. You can reply to that response if you have any additional questions, which can be done by clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the page.
