I have just read the Policy changes for the My Best Buy program, and unless I'm misunderstanding, My Best Buy customers will no longer receive My Best Buy points for making purchases of Apple products? (Unless making the purchase using Best Buy Credit)
REALLY?
I usually go out of my way to purchase my electronics at Best Buy, as I have become a loyal Best Buy customer. I will admit a large reason for this is the My Best Buy reward program.... The majority of hardware that I purchase is Apple hardware, and all this will do is to encourage me to research and make my purchases elsewhere. Pricing for Apple hardware is tightly managed by Apple, so seldom is there a pricing advantage for any particular retailer... The My Best Buy rewards program is (or was) a large part of why I have historically made these purchases at Best Buy.

Hello, HumesRW,
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding the recent changes to our My Best Buy Terms. Recent changes allow us to provide special member pricing offers on Apple products, giving you the ability to save up front. With that said, points would still be received on these products when using a My Best Buy Credit Card when choosing standard financing.
We greatly appreciate your loyalty and your feedback regarding these changes! If you should have any other questions, please let us know.
Sincerely,

Another Best Buy Elite Plus member for the last few years here. I too am upset at this yet again, policy change. Where is the loyalty to your high spending customers? It seems that not even your store associates are aware of this recent policy change. At checkout, I was told that I would receive points. I just bought 2 iPhone pro max phones a few weeks ago on the 25th of October. and was expecting rewards points for this purchase that I paid in full until I was told about this over the phone with Elite support. Over the years Best buy keeps removing "rewards" or incentives from its customers. After finding this out, I requested that my Elite Plus membership be closed as I have no intention of ever spending another dollar at Best Buy after finding out about this sneaky policy change. The points were the only worthy incentive to shop at Best Buy. Elite Plus shipping is a joke, the "exclusive" sales for Elite Plus members were even worse! When Best buy finally goes out of business, they should look really close at comments such as these to understand why their customers left. I lost out on over $400 in gift cards to Target and Costco because of my loyalty to Best Buy. I could return the phones but then I would be stuck paying the restocking fee. Amazon, Target, and Costco will get all my electronics business from now on.
-Former Best Buy Elite Plus customer.

We greatly appreciate everyone's feedback on these recent changes. We take our customer feedback seriously, and always do our best to ensure our My Best Buy program offers some stellar benefits to our members of of all tiers. This Apple member pricing change is intended to offer you amazing savings up front, rather than later. While points may only be awarded when using standard credit on a My Best Buy Credit Card, please also be aware that this spending still counts towards your tier status.

Ive been a loyal Best Buy member for the last 10-15 years of my life and I must stay the changes to the rewards program are a joke. I just spent almost $1000 to be told none of my purchases are valid for points anymore because they were Beats/Apple products! And if I want to continue to receieve points for Apple products like I used to I have to sign up for a credit card?
Seriously Best Buy?!?!
You just ruined a good thing and lost a loyal customer in the process. I'm moving my tech purchases to Amazon. It sucks to say goodbye but it is what it is! The fact that you don't value the customers that you do have left tells me that you don't expect to be around much longer. R.I.P. Best Buy.
