I've reset my password at least 10 times today. Unlinked my google and apple account but every time I sign out it asks me to reset my password and I do and then I sign in but then when I sign out and use the exact password it says wrong password and the cycle keeps going. I've missed out on getting a video card I want because of this issue. Please help

Hi, NEXTLEVEL5,
Welcome to the Best Buy Forums!
I had a similar problem with my steam account, I spent several hours resetting my password one year during a summer sale. In my case the issue seemed to resolve itself, but it would appear that may not be the case here. You mentioned in the Private Message you sent that you have already tried logging in with different browsers. Are you connecting to the BestBuy.com website through a VPN, or do you have any ad blocking extensions enabled? If neither of those are the case, there may be an issue with your My Best Buy account. Can you send a Private Message with the information below so that I can look up your My Best Buy account?

Having same issue. Have had this on and off for like last two years and every time I open a support request I get treated like I'm an idiot who can't type (seriously, Best Buy's chat support has become absolutely terrible in recent years, the number of times I get told after a 30 minute chat I have to call in to actually get help is absurd).
Yesterday was forced to reset my password. Today it says password is invalid. If i try to set it to the same password I set yesterday it says I can't reuse an old password (confirming it was set). This keeps forcing me to keep changing my password which is actually a security problem (people forced to constantly change their password tend to set easier passwords to remember which is why NIST changed their recommnedation for password resets from 60 > 180 days).
Best Buy needs to sort this issue out. Having to reset my password every time I want to check on an order / checkout / view anything in my account is, to put it nicely, a completely broken login/authentication workflow.
