Just keep in mind that any active points, certificates, spend total, or tier status currently in your rewards account will be forfeited upon cancellation and cannot be reissued in the future. Also, a BestBuy.com account cannot be cancelled or deleted. If your BestBuy.com account were to go inactive for an extended period of time, then it would end up getting retired.
