Cannot create an account for purchase

No matter what I do I can't create an account for purchase.  It just says there was a problem creating your account

Thank you for stopping by our community forums. My Best Buy accounts offer quite a few benefits so I'm sure you're eager to create one! I appreciate you letting us know about this error and would be happy to see how I can best assist you.

 

There are a few troubleshooting steps we recommend including clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Which browser are you using? Do you use a VPN or ad-blocker? If so, I would recommend disabling these as they can cause problems when trying to log in.

 

Please let me know if you still have trouble creating an account so I can look into alternate solutions!

I have tried private browsers and clearing cache.  Nothing works and I don't use a VPN
