Can't verify account

Hi,

 

I've been trying to login to bestbuy.com for days. I'm being asked to verify my account but I never receive the verification code via email or text message. I've tried the advise offered in similar threads on the issue - clearing cookies, etc (I have no idea how that should even work anyways) and the problem persists. I've also used different browsers on my pc, laptop and ipad.

 

I'd like to get this fixed so I can make a purchase.

Thanks for stopping by our forums!  It's important to protect your online accounts from any unauthorized access, but being unable to verify your own account would definitely make me feel a bit frustrated.  I'm sorry to hear you haven't received the required verification code in order to sign into BestBuy.com, but I'll be happy to help.

 

First, I would suggest adding BestBuyInfo@emailinfo.bestbuy.com to your contacts or whitelist to ensure our messages are not blocked by your email’s spam filters.  I saw you tried a few other troubleshooting steps listed in other forum threads, but let's go ahead and try the following to see if any of them will fix this issue for you:

 

  • Log out of your BestBuy.com account on all devices
  • Disable ad-blockers in your browser or on your computer
  • Disable any VPN you may be using
  • Clear your browser's cookies and cache
  • Close and re-open your browser
  • Try using a new browser or device to log in if the above steps don't work right away

As I stated in my first post I've already tried all the "solutions" you posted.

Morning, jayfitt.

 

I know you mentioned you had previously tried a few steps that you found here on the forum, but you didn't mention which particular ones you tried.  Since none of these did the trick, I'll need to take a closer look at your account.  I'll be sending you a private message momentarily to collect a few pieces of information, which you can view by logging into the forum and selecting the orange envelope at the top.
